  • Always deliver papers to the DMV in person

    The DMV has an amazing ability to mess up paperwork and it is in your best interest to hand deliver your SR-22, proof of enrollment, etc to the DMBV so that they don't "lose" it. There are a ton of horror stories from people who have mailed in info and assume it arrived and then it dissapeared...

  • You have to check up on the DMV

    You have to keep tabs on the DMV. After getting a SR-22 and enrolling in DUI school I got my restricted license from the DMV. Then a couple of weeks later I get a notice from the DMV that my license has been suspended! Huh? So I go in to check in and yes for some reason my license has been suspended...
