    Don't forget that after you have completed all of your requirements at the end of your DUI school that they have 10 days before they are required to file with the DMV and the courts that you have completed the courser. Therefore you will have to wait up to 10 days before you can get your full license...

  • Always deliver papers to the DMV in person

    The DMV has an amazing ability to mess up paperwork and it is in your best interest to hand deliver your SR-22, proof of enrollment, etc to the DMBV so that they don't "lose" it. There are a ton of horror stories from people who have mailed in info and assume it arrived and then it dissapeared...

  • You have to check up on the DMV

    You have to keep tabs on the DMV. After getting a SR-22 and enrolling in DUI school I got my restricted license from the DMV. Then a couple of weeks later I get a notice from the DMV that my license has been suspended! Huh? So I go in to check in and yes for some reason my license has been suspended...
